NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE AMERICA ’S TOUR FOR LIFE® 2013 ARRIVES IN ABILENE TO PARTNER WITH THE RESCUE THE ANIMALS SPCA ON A LIFE-SAVING ANIMAL ADOPTION EVENT

Special Mobile Adoption Event Scheduled For THIS WEEEKND April 12, 13 & 14TH at PetSmart Courtesy of Lindsey Calabrese of North Shore Animal League and Paul Washburn of Rescue the Animals SPCA   Abilene, TX –North Shore Animal League America’s 2013 Tour For Life – a national cooperative life-saving adoption event – will arrive in Abilene to partner with Rescue the Animals SPCA for a special mobile adoption event at PetSmart, 3501 Catclaw Dr.,Abilene, TX THIS WEEKEND Friday, April 12thfrom 1 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 13th from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 14th from1 – 7 p.m.  In partnership with PURINA ONE®, Tour for Life is the world’s largest cooperative mobile pet adoption initiative ai med at reinforcing the importance and advantages of shelter pet adoptions and familiarizing communities with their local shelter.  {{more}}In addition to having adoptable shelter dogs, cats, puppies and kittens — also known as Mutt-i-grees® — the event will also offer information on the benefits of adopting shelter pets, behavioral education, and special services available to pet owners at Rescue the Animals SPCA. There will also be plenty of activities at the event including a Vaccination & Microchipping Clinic.
