Bob Sutton is a man of persistence. Persistence keeps a person in the game; they keep going when the odds may appear to be against them. Bob Sutton fits that description. Bob works at the BX on Dyess AFB. He states that he has been a Christian since July of 1965 and though he has had ups and downs in his life, he has not given up. He certainly believes that Jesus is his constant helper as he approaches life and business ventures. You might ask: How persistent is Bob? Well, it took him 12 years to get his associate degree from a 2 year college. {{more}}Bob also tells about the time he lived in San Diego. He said that he was involved in a business venture and the owner took off with all the money. About the same time, someone stole his car and he had to ride the bus and trolley for 6 months. He was able to save enough to buy another car after this time period, “But I never did give up,” Bob said.Another area that Bob has not given up in is marketing. He said he remembers his dad selling Amway’s SA8 to Arnold Palmer in the 60’s. Bob has marketed many products over the years; everything from travel to energy. His favorite method of marketing is passing out flyers and sticky notes.Bob is currently marketing as an independent representative with MPB Today, a company that is helping people save on gas and groceries. It would not surprise me if you don’t meet him in person and get one of his flyers or sticky notes.
