The third Sunday in June is widely celebrated as Father’s Day. Every child wants and needs a father who is present, supportive and loving. Fathers are charged by God to be leaders of their families, loving their wives and raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. A child looks up to his father as a hero from the time he is old enough to recognize who his father is. A child believes whatever he is told by his father when he is young. This is the time a father needs to be involved in his child’s life. This is the opportunity for a father to love and encourage his children to believe that they are capable of achieving great things in their lives. {{more}} When a child knows that her father loves and believes that she is capable of making the right choices in life. It gives that child confidence to choose what is right. A father helps her achieve that goal by giving her the proper love, support, guidance and prayer that is needed. The best prayer is, “Lord please give my child wisdom and the power to discern and choose good over evil.” Also, teach your child to pray for wisdom. This sincere prayer for Wisdom has the power to help your child act as a productive citizen treating others with dignity and respect for life, law and property. Fathers please pray for your children, today and every day. Da’Cipher 360° News…. Congratulations to Robert T.
