Abilene ISD Now Accepting Registration for Summer Technology Camps via MyPaymentsPlus

Abilene ISD is accepting online registration for its Summer Technology Camps 2013through Friday, May 31, 2013,on a first-come, first-paid basis.  The camps – which run June 10-14 and June 17-21 – are offered to any area students entering second grade through those entering ninth grade and are taught by certified Abilene ISD teachers at Texas State Technical College. Students can participate in morning camp sessions from 8 a.m. – noon or afternoon sessions from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Each five-day, half-day session is$70 per child. Campers will dig into a variety of science and high-tech subjects that range from rockets and dinosaurs to robotics and computers. {{more}} “This is a great way for children to continue learning – and have fun with friends and meet new ones – through the summer months,” says Lucille Ernst, Summer Technology Camp Administrator at ISD. “In addition, we hope the online registration and payment option will make it even easier for parents to enroll their children in this popular summer program.” Visit www.mypaymentsplus.com– or download the MyPaymentsPlus app to an Apple or Android mobile device – to register and make a payment for your child’s participation in the 2013 camps.
