4 Online Tools to Manage Social Media Platforms

A client and I were discussing how busy things had been since the beginning of the year. She stated that I may have noticed that she had not posted anything to one of her Facebook accounts.   I stated that I had not noticed, but it made me think about how to manage different social media platforms.  As a small business owner, it can be a challenge trying to keep up with blog posts on WordPress, status updates in Facebook, and interactions in Twitter.  Sometimes you wonder how do I manage all the social media? Today I will review four online tools that can help you manage social media platforms. {{more}} HootSuite is an online tool that enables users to: ·         Manage multiple social profiles ·         Schedule messages and tweets ·         Track brand mentions ·         Analyze social media traffic Users can manage five social media profiles for free or more starting at $9.99 per month. The interface or the dashboard looks pretty complicated but the HootSuite University gives quick steps to get users up and running in no time flat.  The best feature I think is the ability to upload documents to Facebook and other social media platforms.    Tweetdeck: Enables users to arrange feeds with customizable columns, schedules feeds to suit your audience, and keeps users up to date with notification alerts for new tweets. Overall, it’s a useful tool for managing Twitter but not very helpful with other social media platforms.  This app is free. Sensible: This online tool allows users to manage from 8 to 120 social profiles and cost from $9.99 to $99.99 per month. It features social media management, robust reporting, and a contact management system. As an added bonus, Sensible comes with an auto responder for Twitter and Facebook. For example, if someone posts a message, they will receive an automatic response to their post. MarketMeSuite: This tool is pretty similar to HootSuite. Users can manage multiple social profiles, schedule posts and tweets, and analyze social media traffic. MarketMeSuite will help you find leads through social media. Considering the conversion rate in Facebook and other social media platforms I think this feature could be phenomenal.  The cost for MarketMeSuite is free for managing two profiles and $15.00 per month for more profiles. The interface is very user friendly.  I was able to post and use many features within five minutes.  As I was writing this article, I found a feature on Facebook that will allow users to schedule posts. Simply write a post, hit the schedule button, and you have scheduled a post.  However, if you have other profiles, you will have to schedule posts for each individual profile.   Out of the four tools for managing social media my favorite is Hootsuite. Why?  Because you can manage five social media profiles for free.  I love free stuff.  Second the features are outstanding, from the scheduling of post to the uploading of documents to Facebook and Twitter.  Stop by www.JoshuaMarketingGroup.com for more information on social media marketing.
